  1. Where about is this situated & can anyone give me any ideas?
also, thinking of going this weekend.

    • Hi Nicole – Contos is a great campsite and is located just off Caves road near Lake Cave. When you get to Margaret River, then turn right at the top of town down Walcliffe Road heading for Prevelly, then turn left onto Caves road at the T junction, then you head south on Caves road until you meet a sign for Lake Cave (about 15 min drive), Turn right here and go past the entrance to Lake Cave and you will come to Contos. Have fun and would love to hear how your trip was.

  2. Dion Francis says:

Hi, I am looking for two caravan sites mid february.
    Does Contos have caravan sites

    • Hi Dion, Yes and No, From memory Contos has places you can park up with your caravan but there certainly is no power. Also it is frist come first served so come open minded about finding a place to park up. The Fact you are looking for two places is going to be twice as risky but it it possible. If you want to be sure try Hamelin Bay Caravan Park just down the road http://margaretriverguide.com.au/tourist-park/caravan-park/?

  3. As it is an Eco park I assume no pets allowed is this correct, please advise.

    Thank you.

    • Hi Garry
Yes you are right as this is a National Park so no pets. Sorry. One camp site to consider is Alexandra Bridge, a lovely spot on the Blackwood River just off Brockman Highway and dogs are allowed if on a leash at all times 🙂

  4. Nicole Maunders says:

    Hi,

Can anyone tell me if this is 2wd friendly?

    • Hi Nicole – Yes Contos is 2WD friendly. You do have to go down a gravel road to get to the camp site, not for long though and it is well worth the trip. Enjoy your stay as Contos is a stunning spot.
